Kristen Stewart won't be taking the dive

Kristen Stewart has revealed that she will not actually be doing any death-defying stunts during the pivotal cliff-diving sequence in New Moon.
Stewart says that the scene, which is a sequence near and dear to the hearts of Twilight fans, will be achieved through the use of CGI.
"I get to almost jump, and then no. I'm not going to do the cliff-diving, unfortunately," Stewart tells MTV. "I have to hand it off to some computerized Bella."
In the book, Bella Swan leaps off a cliff into icy waters below to be able to hear her vampire lover Edward Cullen's voice after breaking up with him.
Stewart says she that her face was scanned in Vancouver, where New Moon is shooting, so that it could be mapped onto a computer-generated figure for the shot.
"I went to do a head-scan the other day and it had to be my 'determined' look," she laughs. "They were like, 'You're just about to jump, so [pretend] like you're about to scream or something.'"
But don't worry, New Moon fans. The vampiric nuzzling will still be real. Well, as real as vampiric nuzzling can be.
