hello, I am level 27 in farmtown, everytime I go to the Marketplace people want to know how many levels are there? at what level did I get all my llamas? I dont think the user guide is adequate in answering these questions. It is very nebulous in this area. I had to go online to find out there are 34 levels with no chance to expand the farm again, this is kind of nonproductive achieving wise, if you are able to obtain these higher levels why is there no reward to expand the farm?
I WOULD also like to know how people stack there plots on purpose, people have told me to use explorer to stack my tiles but i dont know what that means

Over lapping plow fields,
1st click the plow button then make sure the plow thing is high lighted green on your farm, then right click your mouse then left click the mouse to put plow where ever you want it.
*(It has to be highlighted green tho for it to work)

I am at level 20 and I want to make my farm bigger (18X18) but the real estate office says (Locked) when I am trying to upgrade to 18X18
I was locked out yesterday for my upgrade at level 23. I clicked on it anyway and it worked.
It doesnt work when I click on it even though it says locked.
I am sending gifts to people but when they accept them, the gifts are not in their gift boxes. The gifts are lost. They are accepting them correctly and one at a time. This happened to more than one person I have sent gifts to. Is there something wrong with my account? Why are the gifts from me not working for people but gifts from other people are?
I would like to know why the over lapping option is unavailable. From my understanding, the people behind FT were going to rework the program to do away with stacking, but that the overlapping option would still be available. It really makes it difficult to do any sort of design without being able to overlap my crops. I like all the new changes, but c'mon. This just kinda sucks.
So are they going to make it actually illegal to have your fields overlapped, so I have to undo them?
FT did make it so you cant overlap like before, that was just a glitch in the system and led to many people planting way too much. However, if you look in the top right of the screen, there is a picture of a wrench. If you click it, you can see there is an option of erasing the space between plots. Choose that and you can now plow very close together. Not quite that of overlapping, but better than nothing. Hope this helps... happy farming.

there are more things for you to unlock after level 25
there should be setting tab on the top right? click it and then something like remove spaces between fields, make sure thats clicked and you can put fields like right next to eachother with no gaps!

I haven't been able to get on Farm Town, but my cousin has. This is disturbing. I think my farm will be "gone to waste" when I get back up.
I actually HAVE had grapes go to waste in storage...even though this says they won't...don't forget to sell!
Also...FT is having some glitches,and some of the people in Florida and Texas are not able to log on...it is because of the server.

Don't know the answer to your second question though.
If you don't want people harvesting your trees even when you've asked them not to, all you have to do is, click on them and click IGNORE ;) They disappear and your crops can't be harvested!

I am willing to bet that the servers got overwhelmed after they released all those new items in the last couple of days. There are also so many users now....up from about 5 million a month or so ago to over 8 million now. I don't think the developers ever imagined it would take off like this. It was probably a crash looking for a place to happen. I just hope that it comes back sometime....

I read on Yahoo answers that it is a problem between facebook and farmtown connections and that it WILL be back on. I also read that they will extend the growing/dying time so that crops won't go bad, but not sure who wrote that part so not sure if it's true.
My Farm Town page is gone too... I hope nothing has changed in my farm when it comes back... okay, I can spare a few wasted crops...but not the entire farm!

I'm level 27 almost a 28. I had trouble getting into FT, finally did, was able to have my crops harvested, sell them and replant. Then I couldn't get in and later the icon was gone. I hope it is fixed soon and I don't lose all my hard work/level. I know I lost about 6 gifts... What is addict supposed to do?????

there is some problem with the apps on and off, but the team is fixing it. If you still encounter problem, there could be connection problem because this app required high connectivity and slightly higher memory to run compare to others.

Two things I know of that can cause that:
First, you can't use the chat feature in full-screen mode, for some reason.
Second, if you have unread facebook chat messages (the ones at the bottom of the screen) it disables farm-town chat. Again, no idea why.

The reason when you get hired and you only get %50 profit is because the gap between the levels...the higher level the person you are working for, the less money you receive!

Hello--been trying to get on Farm Town since early this morning. Never had an issue before but am new to this website and apparently this happens at times. Once the site is back up, do the crops go to waste or is it at a "freeze"?

Hello I'm on level 24 and if me and my sister are on line at the same time we tend to go see each other on our farms. But over the last two days I have not been able to see my sister, i cant talk to her, hire her, nor can i add her as a buddy...This is very strange so has become invisible.
On her computer i am there, she can see me she can sent hire requests, add me to lists etc etc, but it doesn't send me the requests.

Go to the top right corner, and look at the plug, if it is red, click on it and it should turn green. That should work for you! It just means that your internet connecton was turned off (if red).

I have reached level 34 and actually have 187,000+ experience points and am still unable to purchase a lot of items in the store, tree's etc.
When I'm harvesting on someone else's farm, I accumulate my coins for awhile and then it stops even though I'm still harvesting and the message apppears saying I'm earning. I can finish a whole farm and never get the coins I should have earned. What's the deal?

when i view farm town normally (not full-size) the edges of the display area are cut off- that is, the meters at the top are cut off, i cannot view them completely, likewise at the bottom, the bottom portion of my neighbors doesnt display, it is cut off. i am not sure whether this issue is caused by farm town itself, or facebook or IE.
