Santino: The Finale

Santino finally ended last Friday. Santino is supposed to be very touching and inspirational show. It was fine at the beginning. But like every other Filipino telenovela, it got lost somewhere along the way. I think the problem with Santino is that it became too preachy. Too religious that it became irritating. Santino, the child character, itself became too nosy and irritating. He lacked respect for the elders when he was supposed to be the role model of the young generation. Everyone started dying as well. And for the Finale last Saturday. Charo Santos was Mother Mary. Holy Crap! Was it to prove that ABS-CBN big boss supports this show too much? It became too political. Then the singers of ASAP started singing for Santino's burial. Next time somebody dies and they throw similar tribute I'm gonna think ABS-CBN is just acting it. And all those stars? They better not sing in the next memorial tribute of whoever is next to die. CRAP.

I was thinking, it's good Santino died. Then he can become a saint (at least in the story). But well... he died and lived again. What happened to his organs? Di ba sya na embalsamo? Hep hep.. ok.. It's a miracle! :)
