Singapore Central Fire Station

Inspired by the amazing pictures posted by photog friends here in Singapore, I've decided to start featuring Places to see in Singapore. Aiming to feature the amazing photos by friends and to promote Singapore tourism (and of course to give tips to Singapore tourists)! So here goes. Enjoy!

Today's picture was taken by Jason:

The Central Fire Station (Chinese: 中央消防局) is the oldest existing fire station in Singapore, and is located at Hill Street in the Museum Planning Area, within the Central Area, Singapore's central business district. (Read more...)

To get there:
Alight Clark Quay MRT station, walk towards Funan. Or at the City Hall station, walk towards Funan. This is located just at the back of Funan.

Personally I love this building because it gives such a good contrast to its surrounding... almost feeling not in Singapore. At the back, there's a small hidden museum. It's definitely work checking out. I love it. :)
