Christmas Decors

It's the 2nd year that I'm helping decorate our floor for Christmas decor contest. We won 1st place last year so there's a little expectation and pressure. Not much time to decorate and a little low esteem after seeing how pretty the other floors have decorated their area. But hey. At the end of the day, it's not about winning. It's about Christmas. The team work. The fun. And? We had fun decorating. Whether or not everyone from the team who helped admit it or not. :)

And next year.. we will do BETTER!

To help you Singapore folks find good Christmas decorations here's where we went shopping for Christmas decors:

• Takashimaya - Aha! Pretty pretty pretty! But pretty prices too! :)
• Sheng Shiong - Value for the money!
• Wing Tai - Kovan - Trees?! Trees?! And more trees?!
• Daiso - $2! Where else can you get it cheaper?
• Paya Lebar corner Geylang - Wow! Remember there are 2 shops across each other. The other shop is smaller but don't be quick to judge. Go and take a peek because they sure have a lot of options! Careful when you buy on the bigger shop, we got cheated for the styro ice coz we were told its $4 per plastic and we didn't check the receipt before leaving, they charged us $8 per plastic meaning $4 a piece. Talk about EXPENSIVE! But hey.. if you're looking for life size balloon Santa or Snow Man.. you gotta come here! $40!
• Ikea - Lots and Lots of choices!
• Nex - The name of the shop escaped me for now, but it's on the 4th level just near Vhive. Check it out. It looks expensive but it's not. I found good quality christmas balls for $21 for 20 plus pieces.
