Backup!!!

I got the scare of my life yesterday when suddenly my Seagate hard disk cannot be detected by both Mac and Windows. It was so stressful that I almost cried in stress and desperation. Imagine, my whole life's backup including Daniel's is on that disk.

The good news is that we managed to download this Windows tool: TestDisk 7.0

And after 12 hours, restoration is completed! Thank God!

Okay now the moral of the story is:

Keep duplicate backups!!! As a former sysad and currently application analyst, it's part of my job to think about backup and restoration strategies. It's so dumb that whats's so basic at work wasn't applied in what actually matters most in my life! My own personal data! Urggh!
