The Civil Defence Heritage Gallery traces fire fighting and civil defence developments in Singapore from the late 1800s till modern day, and is intended as a twin vehicle for showcasing the Singapore Civil Defence Force's (SCDF) proud and long history, as well as heightening public awareness of civil defence.
We planned this weekend's CDHG visit along with the Fire Station visit.
At least, here we got to ride the fire truck without having to queue.
Paopao had fun climbing up and down the fire truck with NO tears!
Paopao was so amazed with the toy collection.
First floor boosted the display of the huge firetrucks.
It was easy to lose the Paopao with the big trucks.
The 2nd floor displayed the unsung heroes of Singapore.
There were some interactive exhibits. Like this gun. There was another where you control the hands, and some drawing area.
Over all, I think this gallery would be enjoyed more by older kids. I'd say primary school kids you would be able to appreciate what these Service Men are doing for the country. My Paopao and Mamon are babies who just kept walking around.
That said, do come for a visit. It's an educational place and a cultural heritage. Enjoy! 💋
Go back through football, and you will see that the team with the best defense wins.
