Reflections of COVID

June 09, 2020

As Singapore slowly eases COVID restrictions, I would like to take a moment for my personal reflections on COVID.

Economically, it created a huge mess. Lost lives. Failed businesses, Lost jobs.  Even failed relationships.

We all had different experiences. Different battles. Different challenges. Different journeys.

First I will apologize. I do not mean to offend anyone. This post is purely ours. Selfish but raw.

The Circuit Breaker was one in a life time experience. I'm one of the lucky ones who can continue working from home. I got to work from home.  I had 2 of the most handsome boys in Singapore as officemates. Each break time is spent hugging, cuddling, kissing, teasing. It was heaven if not for the fear the COVID brought. We were not stuck at home. We were safe at home. And we had loads of fun.

We can't stay like this forever.

But we are thankful. Thankful for the time we got to spend together. Thankful that we remained healthy as well as our loved ones. Thankful that we were complete and sincerely happy.

This pandemic reminded me how lucky I am. And it reaffirmed to me that I have everything I want and need in my life and more.

To God be the glory.
