YG CEO bares love life, plans for Big Bang and 2NE1

YG Entertainment founder and chief executive officer Yang Hyun Suk has bared plans fro himself, as well as his for his agency's artists.

In a message posted on the YG Entertainment website, Yang announced that the agency will release new albums of 2NE1, Big Bang's Taeyang, Gummy and Se7en during the first half of the year.

Mid-year onwards, Big Bang's TOP, Daesung and Seungri will be busy with solo activities.

Yang said the agency has established seven music studios and recruited five new producers to work on the albums of YG singers.

In addition, Yang said American rapper Flo Rida will be featured in a version of G-Dragon's "Heartbreaker," which will be included in the "Shine a Light" live concert album that will be released by the company.

G-Dragon's carrier single "Heartbreaker" was deemed a "plagiarized work" by Sony/ATV Music Publishing last year, pointing out that it sounds similar to Flo Rida's "Right Round."

Another cut from the album, "Butterfly," is said to be similar to the song "She's Electric" by the rock band Oasis.

There was no formal complaint filed as yet.

YG contacted Flo Rida's representatives in September for the collaboration between the rapper and G-Dragon.

The new song will be included as a bonus track in G-Dragon's live concert album that will be released.

Profits from the song as well as donations from Big Bang's last concert will go to charity, Yang said.

In the last part of his message, Yang, who is in his 40's, confessed that he is planning to marry Lee Eun Joo, 29, a former YG artist under the group Swi.T, whom he has been dating for the last nine years.

He said he has never told anyone the identity of his girlfriend until now.

Yang is a former member of the now defunct Korean band Seo Taiji & Boys.
