Phuket

We got tender boat #7 because we arrived a bit late at the Theatre during the Phuket stop over. With that it meant we got to board around 845am Phuket time.

As it was still early, Patong beach was still almost empty. Mistake #1, not making the most of it. Because when we came back in the afternoon, it was packed!

A lot of people were offering excursions that you would get confused which one to take. We took a bit of a walk and pick a nice looking uncle. We paid 1500 Baht for full day taxi. Is that a good deal? I'm not sure.

We started the trip by looking for a cash converter. Most of them were closed because it was Christmas and was too early.

We then went for Elephant ride.

We were all starving by the time the first activity was over. So we requested Uncle driver to bring us to a good food place. We went to Kruanookbaan. Lunch was not fantastic but it was enough to keep everyone happy.

We proceed to Wat Chalong, where we had a grand time taking pictures. There were couple of temples around the area. There was a small shopping area. Tip: Buy there. It was way cheaper than near the port where the shipped was docked.

We had no other plan after the temple. So instead we decided to give Uncle a little Christmas gift by allowing him to take us to the "tourist traps"

First stop was the Bee Farm. Paopao loved the Big Monster Bee. Ate Meh and Mommy were so happy with free WIFI.

After the Bee farm, we went to 2 jewelry shops. Awkward. Super awkward.

Uncle took us on another round around the island before we headed back around 3pm. The rest of the free time (we got till 430pm, with 5:15pm being the last tender boat), we used to walk around near the port.
