To be honest, SG MRT are still quite good and spacious as compared to MRT and LRT back home. But, having experienced the better SG MRT service, and knowing and having that experience to compare with how the MRT and Buses are these days.. then I guess there's something to complain about.

Raffles MRT, in particular, is CRAZY during peak hours. It's like joining a procession. To go up (in the morning) and to go down (in the evening) will take your good 10 minutes or more (depends on your luck and/or pushing power for others). The long walk to the exits are a pain. Gosh.

For over a week now, the long escalator at Dhoby Gaut is not working. And the queue to go up the escalators are CRAZY. It scares me that when there's an accident or incident we will all just die there coz we can't go up (of course, that's me being morbid).

But knowing Singapore. They are doing something about it. They can't be this successful if they don't know how to deal with it. So I guess for now.. I'll just have to wake up earlier because my usual 45 minutes trip to office is now 1.5 hours. :)

But hey the picture above seems like a good idea. Or maybe the one used by firefighters?
