Rubella Vaccination

August 02, 2012
I called couple of clinics and found that they don't do Rubella vaccination. And that Singapore do not have Rubella vaccine only. They have the 3-in-1 package, MMR. Which according to Wiki:

The MMR vaccine is an immunization shot against measles, mumps, and rubella.

Here's another good read about this vaccine.

I finally just decided to go back to Thomson Medical Centre. They have 24 hour clinic that provides this vaccine. It costs about $50 including the GST. About 30-45 minutes wait. But the injection was fast and painless. A little bit of a headache after though.

Note: The MMR vaccine is prepared with weakened live viruses, so doctors usually advise avoiding pregnancy for at least a month after receiving the vaccine.  [Source]
