July 01, 2013
In Mamon's 2 months, we have tried different diapers and here's our review in order:

5. Fitti

A pack came free with the hamper from hubby's office.

Pros:

  • Good fit
  • Affordable

Cons:

  • Caused diaper rash
  • No wetness indicator
  • Dangerous tape

4. Drypers

Didn't purchase any but review based on the samples sent.

Pros:

  • They give a lot of samples
  • Affordable

Cons:

  • Caused diaper rash

3. Huggies

In the NICU and during the first few weeks at home we used Huggies for Mamon. He had diaper rash but we had to stick with it because it was the smallest available. I also didn't notice if it had any wetness indicator.

Pros:
  • Good for preemies
  • Unscented
  • Affordable ($7 per pack)

Cons:
  • Caused diaper rash
  • Too bulky (thick)

2. Pampers

Pros:
  • Good fit
  • Thin
  • Wetness indicator plus it becomes jelly like when wet so it's easy to detect if wet/full

Cons:
  • On the expensive side (if not on sale)
  • Smells funny (it's supposed to be unscented but there's a factory smell)

1. Merries

Pros:
  • Super soft!
  • Nice smell

Cons:
  • Expensive

ayaw mo mag Cloth diapers? tiyaga nga lang talaga sa laba... but its worth it! no diaper rash for baby, environment friendly pa... expensive brands are US made: Grovia, Charlie Banana, etc. Cheaper brands are China-made: Alva, happy flute, sunbaby. Meron din ata Pinoy brand.. not sure lang.. earth baby, i think :) -farrah
