Ikki Metropolis

May 12, 2014
Dunno if this is new or what. Not many people were inside and I didn't feel like having lunch at McDo beside it.

I was impressed with the $11 set meal considering the price of the food beside it. So I decided to give it a try.

This California Maki is on the pricey side being $12 for 6 pieces. Ok not that pricey considering how well they presented it. The soy sauce was terrible though.

This is my tempura lunch at $11. Came with 3 pieces veggie and 2 prawns. A salad, boiled pork, miso soup and 2 pieces watermelon.

My colleague picked this Salmon set while another colleague took Teriyake Chicken set (unfortunately I didn't get a pix)

FOOD:
Food quality is average.

COST:
We paid $58 for 3 drinks and 3 set meals plus the maki.  Pretty stiff for a daily lunch for 3 but then again there's not much choice here. :)

SERVICE:
Service is good. It's fast and the ladies are friendly. Just funny that they offered the fresh orange juice (at $5) in the middle of lunch when we already ordered softdrinks.

VERDICT:
3 of 4 stars
