It's an old movie recommended by Warden (haha sorry for the pun). Well. I think the show is too preachy. True that I can relate on many of the situations. True that it's touching. 

#1 I get that it doesn't have to stop at 40 days. He was at 43 when the wife saw it. See that was the point. The movie is to be watched by both parties to be effective.

#2 You never leave your partner esp in a fire.

#3 You give him sometime and give him an apology. Make em sincere.

#4 What did the wife do? Forgive? But she didn't apologize for the other man. 😖

#5 How am I supposed to show love to somebody over and over and over who constantly rejects me?

#6 Did i offend you by walking in the door this morning?

#7 Whatever you put your time, energy and money into, it will become more important to you. It's hard to care for something you're not investing in.

#8 How is it I get respect everywhere except my own house

#9 I realized my marriage was broken but I don't know how to make it work

#10 He considers hatred to be murder, and lust to be adultery

#11 A real man's got to be a hero to his wife before he be to anybody else, or he ain't a real man

#12  Fireproof doesn't mean the fire will never come. It means when the fire comes that you will be able to withstand it.

#13 Looking at that thrash is helping you get fulfilled, I sure won't compete with it.

So yeah. I guess those who still want to give marriage a chance go watch this. Watch it with open heart. And if you really really want to make it work? Make the first move. Give it all you got. Be prepared to get rejected. Once, twice or a million times.

But. Know when to stop.
